Less than a 2 hour flight from Brisbane, enjoy the coastline which is dotted with white-sand beaches.

90 minutes from Sydney, this is a perfect weekend escape. Plenty of vineyards, berry farms, quaint towns, valleys and waterfalls to explore. Much like Hunter Valley but a smaller price tag for weekend stays.

3. Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges, Victoria
Escape the city to nearby Yarra Valley. Fun things to do like hot air balloon and wine tour or you could choose to relax in the mineral spar.

4. Kangaroo Island, South Australia
A peacful Island full of wildlife. Unfortunately it was affected by the bushfires. Kangaroo Island is offering half price on ferry tickets from 25 January to 30 June 2020

When I migrated to Australia, the first place I visited was Margaret River and its still one of my favorites. Famous for wine production you can also explore caves, vast beaches and walk on the cape to cape track.
